Pilatus PC-6 - Porter

AircraftThe Pilatus Porter is a single engine turbine powered Short Take-off and Landing aircraft. The PC-6 holds the world record for highest landing by a fixed wing aircraft, at 5,750 metres (18,865 ft), on the Dhaulagiri glacier in Nepal. North-Wright utilizes this aircraft to move people and gear to high altitude small mountain lakes in the summer and ski flying in the winter. Generally, it hauls four people and two nesting canoes or a variety of gear up to 1500 lbs. The Porter specializes in Mackenzie Mountain adventures.
